Fundraising Momentum shows, of funds that have reached a final close, the average number of months they were fundraising for.
Additionally, it will show the % of target size achieved at first close and final close
How is it calculated?
Like Historical Fundraising, this search will only include closed-ended, commingled funds.
Funds will need the following criteria to be included:
Have a reported fundraising launch date and final close date
Have a reported first close date
Have a reported target size and final close size
Have a reported first close size
For an underlying list of funds for a given filter, use the funds advanced search and view the following columns:
Months in Market
Months to First Close
Target Size (USD mn)
You will then be able to amend the relevant filters to identify the pool of funds for the given strategies/splits you may require
